Kangaroos and Koalas

Little known fact about me: I am fascinated by The Land Down Under, more properly Australia or “Oz” as it’s also known.  I have been since childhood (and that goes back a while) and although I’ve never had the opportunity to go there, I would still jump at the chance should The Fates ever deign to set it in front of me.

One of the most intriguing aspects of Oz is, of course, the unique species of fauna found there: the platypus, the echidna, the Tasmanian devil, and marsupials like the wombat, the kangaroo and the koala.

So those are the “K” words for today’s (short) entry in the A-Z Blogging Challenge.

  1. yes….I want to go too and see everything…except for the spiders. And the cane toads. Well, except for the spiders, snakes and monster huge frogs the size of dinner plates that can squirt poison from their backs. Yeah, except for those things…and the box jelly fish…well, it’s almost paradise. These are the things I think of to take away the sting of not getting to go there…
